TIME Management in 20 Minutes a Day by Holly Reisem Hanna

Ms. Hanna runs the award winning website, The Work At Home Woman (www.WorkAtHomeWoman.com) to serve as a resource for helping the busy woman check out and consider different work-at-home options and potentially launch her own home-based careers should she choose to add that to her busy modern life.  As a mommy blogger herself wrangling the writing and running of a blog-based business, children, and family life, this modern lady surely has strategies, tools, and practical helps for Time Management for all of us. In particular, her Time Management is terrific for Mom, Mompreneurs, and Mompreneurs in-training!

Her approach resonates with my own styles which is to be practical and doable. She takes a no-nonsense approach to Time Management for modern moms.

Thankfully, she makes Time Management very approachable and rapid to learn so we don’t have to attend day-long or multi-day works just to start attempting to implement her effective tools and strategies.

In particular she excels at help us manage the modern day clutter of swarming emails, searching for items at home as well as at the office and meeting management for both professional and family purposes.

The book itself is a tad on the short side which is just to let you know what you’re getting for you USD $14.99 or CAN $19.99. Being a bit short, and pages are not chock full of text. I’m including some screen shots not to impinge on Ms. Hanna’s IP Intellectual Property but only a few to sample for you what I mean about the pages. Her tips are terrific. It means you easily plow through the book in under 1 afternoon and start implementing by evening. Just, it’s not a meaty Time Management book for that 15 or 20 bucks, respectively, that you’ll be shelling out.

Here’s the TOC which was not yet available online at the time of reading and writing this review from a freie advance copy from the publisher for an honest review:

How to Use This Book XI

Chapter 1 Attack Your Inbox

Some terrific strategies and a few tips I knew only vaguely to do, she explains them more fully. I’m wondering if she has some further delineations at her blog for current email changes. I’ll have to research and report back later with an updated review.  Hint: After your alarm chimes, put down your phone!

Chapter 2 Set Daily Goals

I agree completely. Setting daily goals and intentions fueled my sales career. Having both an intention and solid goals empowers you to make use of the moving currents of your natural biorhythms and not have to struggle to implement on just your own power.
