April began coaching in 2002 after the sudden passing of her first husband, a life‑altering loss that led her to study grief, trauma, and emotional recovery at the highest levels. She became certified in The Grief Recovery Method under co‑founder Russell Friedman and has since helped countless clients navigate loss, identity shifts, and emotional healing.

Her journey through grief also ignited her commitment to professional excellence. With life coaching being unregulated, April pursued ICF‑approved training to ensure her work met the highest global standards.
